This page is dedicated to the expedition of the Galilean Society of SUNY Plattsburgh to the Big Island of Hawai’i to observe and record the Venus Transit of 2012. Our excursion will last from the 31st of May to the 14th of June and we will be documenting our journey through posts, pictures, and videos.

Stuck in LAX for the night
Due to delays we ended up being stuck in LAX for about 20 hours.
So we got put up in a Marriott in scenic Los Angeles!
And we made the most of it and saw some different kind of stars!
