Gemini North scope..... it's "twin", Gemini South, is in Chile.
It's nearing sunset and we can now see the shadow of Mauna Kea's
summit on the cloud tops - how cool is that!
This was the last "reading" on the phone's altimeter when we spotted
our first scopes, but continued upward some 50 feet while visiting
each of the observatories.
