This page is dedicated to the expedition of the Galilean Society of SUNY Plattsburgh to the Big Island of Hawai’i to observe and record the Venus Transit of 2012. Our excursion will last from the 31st of May to the 14th of June and we will be documenting our journey through posts, pictures, and videos.

Breaking Through the Clouds
Breaking through the clouds at about 11,000 feet.
We can also see the peak of Mauna Loa above the clouds.
