This has been months of hard work and preparations for all of us, and it is very rewarding to finally have first light with our equipment. It is a learning curve for all of us, but there is nothing more satisfying than getting to see the beautiful sun through equipment that we were able to purchase thanks to the funding through various departments. Perhaps our motto for the next few weeks should be "In Solis, Illuminatio!"
